2020 GMC 2500 HD--Wheels and Tires--OPINIONS WANTED

Hi All-

 

I have been contemplating on getting a new set a wheels and tires for my 2020 GM HD. The color is Red Topez. I like black rims, but as far as good quality, and what brand to stay away from, I am lost!! I was going to go with a set of 35inch Mickey Thompsons for the tires--but looking for opinions on wheels. ALL OPINONS WELCOME!

If the wheels are SAE rated to match the HD ratings of the stock wheels and are hub centric with the correct offset, they should be fine.  Also make sure you can get a heavy wall socket on the lugs.  I bought a set of wheels for an F350 that could only use a thinwall socket.  Broke a socket trying to change a tire on the side of the road.  Was not a happy camper... lol

Also make sure your tire choice supports your load ratings.  A quality tire shop will steer you in the right direction on choices.

 

The black wheels on a red truck should look pretty stunning.

Just my opinion, but black is somewhat played out and I'm tired of polishing aluminum. So I went with fuel covert bronze. That bronze would probably look really good on that red.

That looks awesome!

Beefy look that matches the design of the truck, protected valve stem, and nice sidewall height for a 20".

Cognito performance level with fabbed a arms and fox 2.0 shocks all around, diff drop/pisk support and 1in rear blocks. Turned out great and have a lot ove adjustment left on the front but it's almost perfect level for me. Also wheels are 20/10 -18 bs minor trimming on front mud flaps.

Hey OP, if you like those wheels they come in 3diff finishes anthracite gray, bronze, and black. And multiple back space's to tuck em in tighter if you want. Just so you know. Couple pics for you...
