dieselfan1
My 2018 Double cab wouldn't start yesterday. I checked the connections on the battery they looked fine. I removed and took a piece of sandpaper to clean up the posts and cables. Bam it started right up. Then I replaced the battery. It's easy to clean up these connections now. It would suck two months from now when it's 20 below. Check yours.
MikeBMW
Thankfully, worst I'll see might be 32 but good advice nonetheless!
dieselfan1
32 That would be nice. It's 34° here right now. BTW the connections looked clean. They need to real clean I guess. 1
diyer2
Cleaning battery terminals and applying dielectric grease is part of my regular maintenance. Required for the best electrical connection. More so IMO if you are in a high humidity area.
