I purchase 18" stock rims for my 2003 Silverado 1500. I'm curious what's the closest tire to a 35" that would fit on 18" rims

Would 35x12.5 R18 Fit??

I currently have 35" x 12.5 x R20 with 6" rough country lift kit..

I have 18 in rims with 35s on back wheels . Depends on lift and other factors . Mine rubbed on front with a stock 3 in lift

right now i have 35x12.5 R20 with 6" lift kit.. after trimming the bumper still rubs a little... I bought  the OEM rims for the winter time and I'm looking to buy tires.. i wasn't sure if 35x12.5 R18 would fit

I would get a 35/10.5 or a 35/11.5 if they make them instead of the wider 12.5 just so they hopefully don't rub.

Or better yet just run a 285/75/18 size. That is 34.8in and only 11in wide, that should be just fine.

Why wouldn't they?  You are already running a 35 x 12.5 tire, only the offset will be different and likely tuck the tire in reducing the chance of rubbing.  Make sure your RC lift specifies a minimum wheel diameter and or offset/backspacing to clear the knuckle.

My Zone 6.5 lift works with 18x9 TIS wheels on 35s
