I have not been able to find one on a new to me 2016 Silverado. It uses the AC condenser that is directly in front of the radiator. You should see the trans cooling lines attached to it.
Jack Buys Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 (edited) Thanks, I did find that finally after surfing for a couple hours. Is it sufficient? It also looks like I want to either change the thermal bypass valve to the lower 158 degrees or "flip the pill" to run the cooler all the time. What about retuning the shift points and lockup? I can't comment on returning because I haven't really looked in to that before. But at the very least, I would recommend the new 158⁰ trans thermostat. I originally did the pill flip which helped a lot but began having second thoughts. Because of living north where it does get colder in the winter, I felt that the trans would benefit by some kind of thermostat instead of the free flowing allowed by the pill flip. If you have any kind of mechanical ability, it is stupid easy to change and can be done in all of about 10 mins of effort. Edited February 25, 2022 by mikeyk101 Spelling error 1
scralatchtica824 Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 So my truck has the MAX trailer package with integrated brake controller to the left of the steering wheel. I could of sworn I saw it said 3.42 gears and 6 speed. I know for a fact it has the 6 speed but does it have 3.72 gears? Either way it drives GREAT on stock tires has tons of power I'll be going 265/75r18 soon which shouldn't hurt at all compared to trucks with 3.08 gearing going bigger on their tires.

Scan the QR code in the door jamb on the drivers side. Look for GU6 for the 3.42 rear end. GT4 for 3.73. Edited March 1, 2022 by JimCost2014 1
