I've got a 2014 LTZ with projector halogens and was planning to get the Morimoto Elite HID upgrade kit or a full HID projector retrofit. Decided to try out a much cheaper option first.

I bought these KOOMTOOM H8/H9 LED Headlight Bulbs H11,LED Bulbs 5000K LED bulbs from Amazon ($39): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08L11HQ99/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They were plug and play, had no problem fitting them in, and they make a HUGE difference over stock. I also bought a pair of error canceller things but I cancelled that order because I have no flickering issues. Most LEDs are 6000k or 6500k which I absolutely didn't want. 5000k is good enough, though I would have loved to find something like 4300k.

If you're thinking about upgrading your headlights I'd recommend trying these out first before going all in on an HID system. $39 and a 3 minute install on the driver side + 20 minute install on the passenger side.

Are these still holding up? Bought a pair of Sealights off amazon and they didn’t make it 2 years … left one is half burned out and dimmed.

No, these lasted about 2 years, I bought some other no name brand headlights again and they've lasted about a year and a half and now one of them is going out. Annoying, but for $40 or so and just a couple minutes to change them, I'm not complaining too much.
