lpg Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 We have ceramic coated cars and I think it was the best thing I ever did. few notes I don’t see anyone mentioning if you ever need to buff out little scratches, you will remove the coating, so either live with the scratches or redo coating in that area. not sure whether it’s my wash method or the coating but my truck has no swirl marks whatsoever after a coating that’s been on for a few years now. A waxed vehicle would never have maintained a swirl free finish for that long. Way I look at ceramic is a long day or two work to apply, but about two years maybe 3 or worry free protection. We’ll worth it. I used cquartz uk 3.0 cars still head great after a few years, except hood and roof which the sun have beat on. 1

Thank you, Just cleaned them good and put ceramic coat on them all the chrome and lights. Waited 3 days and did a 2nd coat than waxed with a non-cleaner wax. Love this color up close Edited November 2, 2021 by WeGone
RedLT Posted January 1, 2022 Posted January 1, 2022 Didn't trust myself to ceramic coat the new truck so I bought the 5 year coat done at the detail shop. Amazed at the outcome I decided I would try the Adam's Graphene spray coating on the 03 Trailblazer, did all the prep work and let the coating cure for 24hr. It shines incredibly and beads like never before.
