A couple of issues (trans & adjustable pedals)

I need to bounce a couple of issues off you...

 

- My adjustable pedals have quit working. When I push/pull on the toggle switch, all I get is a clicking sound which I have traced to somewhere under the driver's seat. However, the pedals do not move in either direction at all. It's been like that for well over a year.

Any ideas how to diagnose? 

 

- My transmission (8 speed) doesn't always shift to first when I come to a complete stop. At least 50% of the time, the transmission only downshifts to 2nd. It takes off just fine. I suspect this is in the programing as a fuel saving trick. Anyone have some facts about this "issue" they want to share?

usually starting in 2nd gear is part of the "Winter Mode" setting .

 

maybe you blew a fuse in the terminal block, did you install any new accessories?

Did you ever get the adjustable pedals working?  If so, what was the fix?  Mine's presenting same symptoms
