Deer just ran into the side of my 2021 Genesis G70.  5,100 in damage.

Run use these on all my vehicles. I buy them at the dollar store.

 

They make an ultrasonic sound that alerts the deer ahead that a vehicle is coming, before the headlights have a change to hypnotize them. Its like making noise in the woods, to warn bears that you are coming. Generally speaking, if an animal knows something is coming toward them, they will vacate the area. If you surprise a bear, or blind a deer, then bad things can happen.

Used a version of these thirty years ago on our rig, never hit a deer up in the northeast or anywhere else for that matter.
