I was shopping for an exhaust system, and saw that quite a bit were not avail until sometime next year. So I opted for what was in stock @ Summit Racing. part# 817584.

Is it loud, yes, does it have drone, yes but depending on engine load, tire size and speed has it very short duration or longer if holding the rpm at that spot. The rpm for the drone varies a bit, bc if your moving through the gears accelerating you`ll get right past that point. I`ve been driving the Silverado since 11/21/21 with this system and Love it.

Im a senior @ 60 and this rig sounds great!

I had the same exhaust installed on my 2021 RST. Loud, sounds great, but drone is awful. I had and ultra quite resonator installed in front of the muffler and it helped with the drone a lot. On the highway you would think it was the stock exhaust. What really did it in, and the reason I got rid of it was the DFM. The DFM around town was just plain annoying to listen to.

Edit: I just realized this is about the Outlaw system, I had the FlowFX system. The Outlaw is rated to be more aggressive than the FlowFX. I couldn't imagine how bad the drone is on this system.

I can not completely comment on the drone, as I have not towed with the truck as of yet with this new exhaust.

I do run the Range DFM delete module, you could have tried that before removing the exhaust.

As far as the drone, different engine loads, different roads and speed have any drone in different rpms and gears. does it have some, yes, but I`m quickly past that point. I would suspect it would be worse when low speed cruising, however I have not experienced it yet even with varying speeds, hills, curves, ramps, etc... Ill know more when I hook up the trailer in a few months.
