Just put in a new stock OEM converter. Pretty hard to screw it up if you do it that way.

if it is slipping it has probably put a lot of crap in the tranny oil and the tranny it self is going to fail. i would check the fluid first to see if it is contaminated.

Our 2014 Z71 transmission Died after colliding w 2 deer (MT) and the Tranny shop said no deer could've caused repair needs. However, he replaced this cooler lines, AFTER telling Insurance they shouldn't cover the $6k rebuild ?  Can someone offer solution? I believe with all the Rad and Headlight damage, this cooler line may have caused Torque and tranny to cease ?? Please Help.

Most likely when you drop the pan you will find a lot of metal but if by some luck you caught it in time, and if you have a 6L80 tranny, you can use a 6L90 TC, its much stronger.

Yeah probably did, the trans had way less pressure and suddenly didn't have enough fluid. You need a new transmission shop if they think that.

So I did a fluid and filter swap before I sent it to the shop. Worked for a couple days and started again there was no metal or build up in the pan just burnt fluid. Sent it to the shop they said they were not replacing the tc (warranty depeartment) because it was not bad they did a complete Trans flush and put better fluid worked for a couple days now it's doing it again.  I want to catch it before it ****s up my Trans because my warranty is almost up and I can't afford a Trans rebuild.

Just keep taking it to the place that honors the warrantee, They'll eventually have to fix it!, is this an aftermarket warrantee?, they can suck sometimes.
