just replace the def heater in a 2015 gmc 2500 duramax and codes are popping up

i just replaced the DEF heater on a 2015 gmc 2500 duramax and all kinds of codes are popping up. and it wont let me erase them,the codes are p205,p208 and some that just say generic. this is the second heater put in , the first one was done at the dealership. im really disappointed with gmc , so sad.

Its a known and documented failure.  GM has an extended warranty on it too that is good for 10 years or 120,000 miles.

 

For the lights to go out, dealer or someone with a capable scan tool has to perform a Reductant System Malfunction Service Bay Test.
