Constant beeping noise while driving at 70 mph or over

I have a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 extended cab and while I drive at or over 70 mph then a beeping noise begins to ring for like 5 minutes then it stops for like a minute then it begins again. This only happens at that speed, anything under that then the noise will not come on. The airbag light is on which I’m almost sure is the reason for the noise. I will get it serviced soon but does anyone know how to turn that sound off by disconnecting a fuse or something?

When the beeping starts to go off, do you see a speed warning message appear on your DIC in the gauge cluster?

No, no warnings or notifications pop up, it just start to beep after 5 minutes of driving at or over 70.

Maybe it is the one of the seat position sensors. Does it do it when you have a passenger with you in the front seat? Both seats occupied. 

 

There may be a code stored, have you checked?

Yes it still does it even when there’s a passenger. But thanks for letting me know about that sensor, I will go ahead and replace it and see if that’s the problem.

you are 100% sure this is an electric beeping/buzzing noise? I have a 2021, but if i'm driving 70+ and there is a slight cross wind, the front bumper starts to ring out super super loud. Sure there isn't some vibration or something somewhere?
