Adding Chip(s) Later For Heated Seats?

Have had 2022 Yukon AT4 on order since October but still not build date.

 

Latest update shows heated seats NA that dealer says chip issue.

 

They added that at a later date the chips will be delivered to the dealer who can plug them in as the rest of the system will be installed at the build?

its legit, they are limiting several options on all new vehicles to be added later, might take several months though.

Legit.  There is no "adding chips" its actually installing the parts that they were waiting on the semiconductor chips for to make the system functional.  So it could be the switches for heat, the modules, etc.
