2004 Silverado Cruise Control

Has anyone else had issues with their cruise control after replacing all lights (except headlights) with LED?  Replaced all along with the cab/bed light on back of cab.  Also replaced brake light switch as I was told it was bad.

What am I missing?

Don't know if the same is true on those trucks but on some GM cars from the late 90's and early 2000's, if the 3rd brake light was out the cruise control stopped working. Even though the bulb is now a LED it may not like it.

 

You could put the standard bulb back in the 3rd brake light just to test that theory out if you wanted.

Agreed; if you changed something and a problem occurred undo the change a little at a time (maybe); in your case start with the 3rd bake light.

Mine was like that. I just changed one brake light bulb back to halogen and cruise came back

Thank you all for your suggestions.  I will try changing the 3rd brake light back and see what happens.
