I saw a 2019+ LT Z71 over the weekend, and I'm pretty sure it was painted in the old Bright Teal Metallic from the mid 90's.  I didn't have time to stop and ask the guy the story behind his truck.  I'm pretty sure it had a Tennessee license plate.  Does anyone on here know if it was once one of the special order colors, or do you think this guy just randomly had his repainted?  Has anyone seen one?

I don't remember a bright teal (greenish) color in the early 2000's.  I remember Indigo Blue Metallic and the Rival Blue Metallic in the 2000's.  I had a Rival Blue in 2003.  You sure it wasn't a '22 refresh in Glacier Blue Metallic you saw?

Sorry, it was a mid 90's color on the Silverado.  And, it was definitely not Glacier Blue Metallic or any other blue that has been available since the mid 90's.

Lol ok.  Sounds like the Quasar blue.

Nope....it had more green in it than Quasar.

They have a teal shade as one of the SEO (Special Equipment Option) special paints. That's probably what it was.

It's WA-5405 listed simply as 'Blue' (there are three different colors called 'Blue', in addition to Indigo Blue Metallic and Arrival Blue).

Here's the order guide with a list of all the SEO paint colors.

The original post in this thread has a picture of a truck in the above mentioned color.

You nailed it, Jeff.  Thanks for the reply.  I was pleasantly surprised at how good the truck looked in that color.

Yes.  Jeff nailed it above.  It's WA-5405, also called Blue Green Metallic.

GM sold a "TON" of that teal color during the C/K 1500 run. I still see many of them running around here in Midwest IA. Most are rusted to the frame but still driving on the roads. My favorite body style of any GM truck in my opinion.

They also sold a TON of Camaro's in a very similar color.

Not as many as there were, lol - I had a 2005 Suburban in that color - its just a little different than the SEO teal that is (rarely) available.  A few years ago (2019) I saw someone here that had wrapped one in teal that was very close to the old GM one. Here's the link:
