Hello,

I am new to the forum and I wanted to see if I can get away with upsizing the tires on my 2019 Silverado to 285/50R22 with the stock suspension? I know the tires would be about .5" wider and 1.2" taller than the stock 275/50R22.

Any advise would greatly be appreciated.

Yes. The 285/50R22 will fit the Non-TB/AT4 trucks with stock suspension. The 285/55R22 seem to become a problem for stock suspension. You can also fit 305/45R22 on stock suspension trucks. Just to give you some more options.

I have a 2021 Chevy Silverado RST Duramax with stock 275/50/22.

i purchased 285/50/22 tires as most people say they will fit.  Can anyone confirm if this will work on stock suspension?  My concern is that I only have 1/2” of space with control arm on the stock tires.  Any feed baby would be appreciated.

I have a trail boss (2” lift), and removed the rear blocks. This is a 305/55R20 on a 20x12 rim; -44 offset. They rubbed until I removed the mud flaps and tied back the inner fender liners.

the only thing done to the suspension was removal of rear blocks to level it.

I have a 2019 GMC AT4 with the stock suspension (no level).  Im trying to figure out if a 285/50/R22 will fit without any rubbing.  The wheels have a -12 offset.  Trying to avoid having to install the leveling kit due to budget as you have to replace the control arms etc with the AT4 or Trail Boss.  Anyone successfully did this?  Some minor trimming is fine as well.

You should be fine and only have to modify the inner wheel well liner if anything.

I have a 2019 Denali with a 2" level and 285-50-22 on stock wheels. They rubbed slightly at full lock. I performed the inner wheel liner mod to the bracket and pulled them in tight with a large zip tie. The rub is very minimal if at all and only when backing at full turn and going through a dip.

Wheels are 4play 4p80r

Just had to pull the liner back a bit up front.

Hi

i have a stock 2018 Chevy High Country with 286/45r22's.  I've gone through 2 sets of tires and 2 rims because PA Roads Suck A$$ and the rims bent cracked or the tires bubbled due to pothole strikes. Can I upgrade to 285/50r22's or even 55's without modifications?

Thx
