...because it's -1 right now and without global warming who knows how cold it could get. I know it gets colder in some areas but man, I was just outside doing a few things for about a hour and it hurts to be out there. My face was numb but at least my feet stayed warm due to my Thinsualte Wolverines.

There's a mild breeze going too, and it's not a balmy one. I'm guessing with wind chill it must be about -10 or so. Got about 2" of snow on the ground.

My truck starts alot easier than I do when it gets this cold. It fires right up after sitting outside but the suspension makes alot of creaking and groaning noise when I drive over some rough roads.

Post a few temps for different areas. I'm curious to know who's getting hit the worst. I'm in WV. Looked like the New England states were getting the worst of it.

Well...You have it worse than I do....Or ever will unless I move.

It was a balmy 55 here today, supposed to be 60 tomorrow. These temps are waaay high for Oklahoma this time of year, it's usually in the 20's.

I don't know how I would handle below zero...I would probably moan-and-groan, and creak a lot, like your suspension.

Don't remember what part of OK your in?

Did you get that nice 70 degree breezy day last saturday?

Sure did, but it really wasn't breezy by our standards

Sucked though....I'm broken (collarbone, and both knees) so I couldn't go riding during our little heatwave in Jan.

Oh yeah...I'm in OKC.

-1 here near Albany, NY. Got to -10 last night, looks like it won't be so cold tonight. Truck is REAL slow turning over after overnighting in the cold this low. I don't have Mobil 1 in the crankcase yet, gonna do that in April, oil change was done just before I got the truck 10 days ago, used with 62,000 on it.

Wind chill is -21 for those that care...

Reached 15 below last night here in southern Maine. Truck wouldn't start this morning. Had to jump it. I leave my radar detector plugged in and haven't used the truck since Friday noon. Dear old weather man is calling for highs between -15 and -5 on Wed. Ya highs below zero, zeeesh. Now if it would just snow
