got a letter from gm saying my 2020 3/4 duramax, has a voluntary emission recall, saying may employ higher than necessary temps to clean DPF filter during regeneration.

Was wondering if anyone else had had this work done.

I had it done on mine about a month or so ago.

I got it done and it has jacked up my fuel mileage substantially. Lost around 4mpg and I’m pissed. GM won’t revert it back either.

Has anyone else experienced a significant reduction in mpg since this recall update? Does anyone have an answer as to how to revert or fix?

As posted in the other thread, a few had that issue at first and then returned to normal.  If you are just going off that tank,  remember they burned up a fair amount of fuel going nowhere when they did the update and had to force a regen.

Others reported a "shaking at idle" along with the reduced fuel economy. Mine has a slight shake that it didn't have before the update.

Quick question, I had the recall done and now I have had to replace my NOx sensor twice in 2 weeks. Engine code p22FB. Anyone have any ideas. The dealership has zero clue what is going on and I am don’t sitting there for 5 hours while they troubleshoot.

I had the update done a few weeks ago. I got the truck back with a rough idle. I read up on it and found that it needs a small quantity injector reset. I did this with a friends scanner since I did not want to deal with taking it to the dealership again. This smoothed it out and back to normal. I did lose MPG and also today got a p22fb code. If I had a choice I would not do these updates as my truck is a 2020 that I have owned for 3 years without any issues until the updates.
