Sand/salt spreader hook up

Anyone got a SAND/SALT spreader set up? The one I want needs 30 amps to run the vibrator and spreader. I'm wondering if my truck can handle this.

JHM..........If you have the factory tow pkg. on your truck a GM I

assume. You should have a hot lead in the trailer plug.

Sometimes you have to add a fuse in the underhood fuse center

to make it work. Dumb GM didn't usually put one in there.

Read the owners manual for amp rating max..

JHM.....Where did ya end up hooking the spreader power too?

Power connects directly to battery with remote control module connecting to a fuse powered when ignition is on.
