Drilling under driver seat

Hey guys,

 

I want to install something under my driver seat in a '17 Silverado. I need to drill a hole through the floor to bolt it through. It seems like the floor is thicker in some parts rhan others. I'm curious if there are any wires or other things under the vinyl, or if there is some unibody type reinforcements that I shouldn't drill into there.

 

Has anyone done this before? Is rhere anything to avoid in that area? Thanks!

under the door still ,there are wires . lift the carpet/vinyl ,look under the seat. also look under the truck,where you want to drill.

I just have to ask, what is this "something" you have to fasten under your seat hahaha a secret compartment for coke?
