I own a 2017 Silverado 1500 with a pulsating braking issue. It happens on the passenger front only for no apparent reason. The pulsating will continue long enough for the rotor and the rim to get steaming hot. I can feel the truck lagging and it starts to tremble. The first time it occurred I actually thought my wheel was falling off.  The length of time it is happening varies each time it occurs. Sometimes it stops while driving and other times I have to sit the truck for awhile. No warning on the dash cluster. The flex hose looks good and the caliper checked out ok. Any help would be appreciated.

The pulsating happens on it own like an ABS issue. Once it stops pulsating the brakes are good. No pulsating when I apply the brake like when the rotor is warped.

I had a pulsating issue on the front. It only occurred when I was slowing down when exiting the freeway. It turned out to be a build up of paint or something similar. Cleaned the rotors and it was fine.

Your issue seems to be a little more involved. It is like the brake fluid pressure isn't bleeding off all the way. I wonder if the piston on the brake caliper is hanging up? Is there a residual check valve in the circuit?

Let us know once you figure it out. This is most interesting, good luck.
