2022 Refresh Speedometer Recalibration

So, why did GM take this stance on tire size modification? People have fun with modifying their vehicles by putting larger or smaller tires on. Adjusting the speedo makes it safer for these people who did these mods.

One word. Liability. I'm sure them lawyers got in the board meetings and said the words "potential lawsuit" enough times until everyone agreed not to allow dealers to make programming changes unless approved by GM.

Don't forget about the EPA and the fact that GM/Ford/Dodge etc etc no longer want you to "own" the car you own. They think that even if you buy it, it is still their property.

And tree huggers at the EPA are likely fuming at the fact that people will on purpose lift vehicles, make them less aerodynamic, put larger tires on them etc etc because all of that uses more fossil fuels and kills baby animals all over the US but no where else the world.....

Struck out with the Hypertech In-Line (plugs are physically different).  Anyone have any luck on a 2022 refresh yet?  Went from 17" to 20".  Even thought the 20's are a stock chevy wheel/tire combo - dealer won't/can't update as Chevy won't help.  Thanks!
