Howdy gang.  Been in communications with Borla for about six months, asking when something will become available for our model trucks.  "Soon" is all I get.

Been looking at Stainless Works and MBRP.

Both have the T304 steel which will help in the Maine winters.  No tune needed and will not void any warranty (as they claim).

I am leaning towards MBRP.  Not too aggressive but still very noticeable.  A little cheaper too.

I will make a decision tonight.  Stock exhaust is too quiet and boring.  Have you all looked at the size of that muffler on our trucks?  Daaaaaaaaaamn.

No exhaust will void warranty unless proven by the dealer, which will never happen, you are legally protected by Magnuson-Moss.

If you are able to post a before/after video of how it sounds that would be great.  I have been trying to decide between the MBRP and the Borla but don't want to spend the GM Accessories price.

Don't know about on the new trucks but, the MBRP on my 2007 GMC 2500 6.0 sounded great. Nice burble at start up, deep roar when I hit the go pedal hard, but not loud at highway cruising speed.

I went ahead and purchased the MBRP T304 set up.  I have always gone with Borla but they do not have anything out yet.  The Borla set up from the dealer I heard was not all that great.  And they jacked up their prices to almost $2K!

I will take lots of pictures.  Not sure how to post a video on here.

Will be a few weeks yet.

Stay tuned.

Borla website only has one for 1500, not 2500HD's as stated in initial post

I did the same, have had it for a year or so.  Only issue I have is that the clamps don't keep exhaust in place.  Although mine is regular cab long bed so the mount points and clamps might be better on yours.

If you go to the Chevy or GMC website, under accessories and performance, there you will see the Borla option.  It's funny because you cannot see that on the Borla site.

Yeah, I went with the MBRP cat-back on my truck also. I've done my last 4 trucks, with Magna Flow, Gibson & 2 MBRP systems. Those stock mufflers are like a 35 gallon oil drum! My mechanic buddy has a collection of my stock systems. The MBRP system sounds nice imo, not too loud but wakes it up a bit, also in performance. I did ditch the ridiculous 5" tip they use though as my HC came with 4" chrome tip that slipped right inside of the tailpipe and I had my buddy tack weld it on. It looks way better!
