Im sure you have all seen it a thousand times.  But did you know where they filmed this movie?  

 

Actually they filmed it less than a mile from my house.  

 

Where that kid got his tongue stuck to the pole i played baseball for many years right over there.

 

Pretty neat to have a movie made by you

His little brother is funny when they are in the fight w/ the bully that has yellow eyes.

It's definetly a holiday favorite.

My favorite part is where the boy tells his mom that he heard the word "fudge" from his friend.  Then his mom calls that boys mom nd tells her.  Then you here the other mom walking down the hall and then starts whooping the kid, and you hear him yell "Oww, Oww, What did I do!!  Oww!"  LMAO every time.

and then he has the bar of soap in his mouth, it's a classic.  I always loved that movie, there's just too many funny parts.

That's a holliday classic!

 

My favorite part is when they visit that Santa and the Santa kicks the boy down the slide.

That's one of the funniest holiday movies I have seen!  

 

That whole section w/ the "f" word is my favorite!!  That scene where the kid is dreaming he is defending his poor, helpless family against the "bandits" is also pretty good.

 

Ryan, do you know when that movie was made?  My best guess is in the late 70's or maybe early 80's?

 

Definite classic.

I believe it was the early 80's.

 

On kennedy avenue there is a bar named after the guy who got his tongue stuck to the pole.

 

The school was harding elementary school.  Still there today.  There is a firestation about 1000 ft away from the school so it wouldnt have taken them to long to arrive hehe

Too bad I already did my Christmas shoping. That is halarious!

I watch that movie so much, when we went to visit my parents for Christmas last year, they got me a Red Ryder BB gun! lol  "I want an official Red Ryder, air carbine-action, 200 shot, range-model air rifle!"  lol

I also have a registered Vizsla (Hungarian Pointer) and his official name is  "Ralphie's Red Ryder"  We call him Ryder.
