Looking for some advice. I have a 2016 All Terrain X that has 100,000kms and needs new tires. I currently have the OEM 265/65/R18 Wrangler tires with no lift above the one that apparently came stock from the factory.  I’m considering the BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 and my second choice is the Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus.  Any opinions on either tire?  These will be used for regular driving.  I’m in souther Ontario so snow performance is important.  I’d also consider going with larger tires for a more aggressive look if they’ll fit and not rub.

How could you not be happy with those wranglers that gave you that kind of mileage, good on all types of terrain and still reasonably quiet. You have to search hard for a better general purpose tire, I love them and have had good luck with them for many years now. You can get better looking, more aggressive, longer lasting, quieter, but there are always trade offs.

That's a great point.  I have been quite happy with the OEM Wranglers.  I would like to get larger tires and I was wondering how much larger I could go without any rubbing.  I'd even consider the 2" lift in the front to level out the truck if that meant I could go larger as well.

And no issues with rubbing?  That’s on stock height as well or did you level the truck?

There are hundreds of threads covering this same question, go search around. Plenty on largest tire stock and plenty on largest tires leveled. It is probably the most common question.

As another said if you like and got great performance stock why not stay with that and just upsize? Otherwise I am not a fan of the BFG, quite an over rated tire for the highest price with average performance. I am a big fan of the Cooper tires, the AT3 4s is what I have now and very happy. I have also heard good things about the Falken Wildpeak AT3W.

I have 2" level but I don't think it was necessary. No rubbing issues

I have Pirelli Scorpions in the stock size, because they were the best price on a RWO tire with more aggressive tread than my stock Wranglers (original tread design, no the more blocky updated one) without looking like I'm trying to compensate.  The ride is great, and while I've never put the truck in a situation where I'd get stuck, the tires haven't left me wanting in Spring-melt wet grass or logging mud either.  I don't know how long they'll last, but fuel mileage doesn't seem to be impacted much as the truck pulls 20 mpg at 70 mph running E85.  The tires on on the truck in my sig.
