The HD on 36x14.50 Swamper STS's.

I got them mounted up today. I had them use static beads to do the balancing, I had good luck with them in the X-terrains. Took them for a 20 mile ride during lunch. The have a nice huuuum to them. Quiteter than the X-terrains. Anyway, here they are. He put some tire dressing on them when he mounted them So they are shiny!!

 

As you can see I did decide to trim the bumper. Gave me a lot more clearance. So I figured what the hell.

Nice truck! My BIL just got those STS Radials in the 33's about 2 months ago. He loves them. Just out of curiosity, I'm going to get some 35" X-terrains this spring/summer, how many miles did you get out of them? Were you disappointed in any way with them? Thanks, Chris

I didnt get a chance to put many miles on them. Maybe 6-7k. But they were wearing great. Rode great. I liked them. If they made a wider one, I would go with it. That is the only reason I got theses STS's.

Yeah, I'd like a wider tire. Actually I'd like the exact tires you have, but don't think they'd fit. I know the 35x12.50 X-terrain's fit with no rubbing at all, but the extra 1" in height and 2" in width is probably pushing it with only a 5" lift. I'd cut the bumpers like you if I knew they wouldn't rub on the cab part of the fender well. I think that is the area that would limit me. I'll have to do some measurements when it warms up. Again, I think you've got one of the nicest Lifted HD's I've seen. Chris
