Weird burning smell from the engine compartment on my ‘20 AT4

The truck is a 1500 with the 6.2 engine. When it gets warmed up I am noticing a sweet burning smell in the cabin that is coming from the engine compartment. No noticeable smoke. Truck runs fine and has 55,000 miles on it. Any guesses what it could be?

I would guess it to be antifreeze.

Sounds like antifreeze, Check the level in the overflow tank. I would get the cooling system pressure checked.

  subscribe to alldata.com, that will have gm's brake bleeding procedure. and what you have to do likely varies, as if you just replaced a caliper and the MC didn't go dry, you most likely can just do a normal bleed on that corner, but if you disconnected lines at the MC or the abs unit, or let the MC run dry while doing work, you'll have to do a more extensive/complicated bleeding procedure.

  I'm tired of troubleshooting cold-weather start and idle issues with my '94 940. Time to scrap the friggin electronics for something that WORKS without giving me an aneurism. A pair of manual choke Webers to the rescue! Since it's a '94 I'll probably have to swipe the balance shaft out of my '92 parts car, since the chances of the '94 having a block-mounted distributor drive gear are slim to none ... and my luck is never that good when lots of work is involved! That way I can run an old boat engine distributor assembly with points. No more starting issues next winter!   No pictures. Possible that the brand could make a difference, though I've always thought the numbers tell the story. All I know for sure is that his tires sure looked good.
