Won't shift into 4x4 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500

I'm running out of ideas I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado and 4x4 won't engage. I have cleaned the ground wire under the driver door, replaced 4x4 push button on the dash and replaced the accuator and still no luck. What else should I check?

Is the transfer case engaging and not the axle or not? Which actuator did you replace? any codes?

Replaced actuator on the front axle. Transfer case is not engaging and no codes.

Remove the encoder motor and see if you can shift it manually. If your scanner doesn't do trans  codes you may not see them. while you have the encoder off cycle the switch and see if it's working
