I constantly check salvage yards and ebay till I find a good deal on them.

If you want it in short order, the fields not cheap. I say that because I wanted it in short order. Mine was new but it was 600. Had to get a matched camera model too. 

 

The mirror I bought was the "1st gen" with hard plastic buttons in lieu of the soft on 2nd.

P/N - 13536995

 

The light and camera combo was the following

Light Assembly - 84487008

Camera - 84486910

 

This was installed into a 2018 Silverado so it was all new to the vehicle.

Just did this to my 17 2500

Running a topper so I made a fiberglass shark fin to hold the camera. 3 layers of tint was hard to see out of. Bought a mirror with a cut coax cable. EZ fix for me. Ran my own coax to the fin and plugged it in...

Nice !!!  shoot looks like a BMW  Shark fin  , Great job .
