Throttle spring fix?

On even minor off road terrain the throttle spring on my wife's 03 2500 Suburban in very difficult to modulate. Is there a heavier spring out there? How about an add a leaf?!

If you are talking about a spring/cable connected to the throttle body, I don't believe there is one. I'm pretty sure it's controlled by a throttle sensor and the computer translates the position of the pedal and adjusts the gas flow. Not positive, but I think it's been like this since '02 maybe. I know there isn't a throttle cable on the Corvettes and it's made its way to the new trucks and SUV's. Hopefully someone knows for sure. Chris
