Had to have my starter changes and my son-in-law did this in his driveway for me. Once again these little locking tabs break and I am at a loss on how to replace them.

The electrical connection on the starter has a small locking tab to lock the connection, but how and where do I find these? I don't see them in the parts diagram online.

A picture might help to see the connector you are referring to. Also, what year truck & motor is the starter for. I'm not sure they all take the same starter & same connector. 

EDIT: I found this video that might help. He had the same issue & changed it to a ring connector.

This is what I am finding online. It seems I will need to purchase the whole connector as the locking tab is not available by itself.

Looks like Amazon is the best price around... Thank you
