I have a 2023 Denali with the LZ0 Duramax diesel. According to https://www.smartstopstart.com/chevy-buick-cadillac-gmc-products.html, their stop/start eliminator now support the refreshed trucks, including the diesel.

Any experience with SmartStopStart? Any side effects? It says it is a 3 minute install, which I prefer to disassembling the dash with Autostop eliminator.

I was concerned about taking apart the new refreshed dash but it actually came apart quite easy. Go with the better product. Get the eliminator.

What makes the AutoStopStart eliminator the better product? Honest question.

It is plug and play with OEM style connectors. That means no wire splicing.

Also, the Autostop Eliminator allows for button function. It remembers if the start/stop was on or off when the vehicle shuts off.

I put an AutoStop Eliminator on my 2022 LTD. I know the dash is different for the 2023, but its more or less the same module. Works great. No issues. Remembers the last used setting, so it stays OFF when you turn it OFF. Set it and forget it, probably won't ever turn it back on.
