So I have a 06 GMC Sierra with the 6.0 gasser with the 4l80e. I am throwing the p1810 code which I am pretty sure is due to my forward clutches being stuck together (I'm getting the transmission rebuilt very soon). So my question is, will this code cause the truck to not rev past 2500 rpms at idle? It shifts fine and goes up to the normal rpms while I'm driving. It doesn't say that I'm in limp mode but kind of feels like I am. The truck doesn't really have any get up and go and it feels like I'm always towing something. I'm thinking maybe fuel related, but with the transmission code that may very well be the problem all together. If anyone has any in put I would be interested to hear, it's a boring rainy Sunday so I'm just reading up on the codes.

I think the idle rpms are limited to keep us from damaging things.  The way the truck drives may very well be the transmission.  I'm commenting to bump this for you and see if anyone else has something to say about it.
