2 weeks ago I bought a new 2022 Silverado custom with 87 miles. within 12 hours (2nd time I drove it) the Infotainment screen stopped working, the backup camera works however it is fish-eyed. I took it immediately to the dealer and they told me it could be the Radio  or a module and they were ordering the radio. I heard nothing from them after a week so I called back, they told me the part was on back order and had no idea when it would arrive. Also while driving it for the last 2 weeks the screen will randomly start working and functions until I shut the truck off. 1 other issue is that the WiFi is not broadcasting since the initial failure, either when the screen is function or not.

Has anyone seen this issue and know how to resolve it?

The last time the radio randomly functioned, I checked for updates and none available. I also reset to factory defaults and these two things did not resolve the issue?

Maybe something isn't fully plugged in? There's a module behind the glove box next to the right firewall. From underneath you can reach up and check to make sure all the plugs are pushed into the module. All the cables to the module plug in at the bottom so it's a fairly easy thing to check without tools.

The other thing you could do is remove the radio screen and make sure everything is plugged in securely there, too. You'll need some plastic trim removal tools to remove the big plastic upside down U-shaped trim that is going around the radio screen. They're also another trim plate at the very bottom. Then there's 6 or 8 screws holding the display in. The "display" includes the radio, climate control, etc as 1 unit.

2022 LTD or refresh? The 2019-2022 LTD has had issues. Haven't heard any issues on the refresh.

@Transient  I have reseated all connections in the module by steering column and the radio behind glove box. The dealership removed radio when i had it there.

@mafd2  it is the Silverado Custom with the 7" infotainment basic radio package.

I have been told by my Dealer that GM is well aware of the issues with the infotainment system. Currently there is no fix, they just keep selling broken trucks.
