Never used either of those tires but the Pro Comp is just a knock off Toyo Open County AT2. Look at them side by side and you will see how similar they really are. The Pro Comps are more expensive than the Toyo's as well. I'd put my money on the Toyo's over the Pro Comps any day, plus you know exactly what you're buying with a Toyo.

Thanks for pointing that out.  I'll pass on the knock off. Few guys around the neighborhood complain of crappy performance in the rain after 15k or so miles. I'm skipping Toyo and nitto for this reason.

Any other good for the long haul tires out there to consider?

Michelin Defender LTX

Hankook DynaPro AT2 Extreme

Hankook DyanPro XT

Those are a few other options.

Have the Michelin's on our Tahoe, second set now, almost 70K out of the first set.

Have a set of Cooper AT3 S4 on my truck, really liking them so far.

I like the Michelin Defender LTX on my work truck. They are a really good tire. I have had them on a few work trucks.  One thing I noticed is they do not like pot holes. One broke a belt. No biggie as that was my old work truck, so we got a new one.

They did very well in the rain and gas mileage.

I have not checked out the Hankook DynaPro AT2 Extreme yet. I'll see if I can find some reviews and maybe a place that has them in stock local

A while back I was thinking of going with the Cooper AT3, but I did not find any long-term reviews.
