Shock/strut upgrade recommendations?

Recommended Posts

I have a 2018 silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 with stock rancho shocks with a 3" lift. It has around 50k miles on it.

What is a good upgrade over the stock shocks/sturts?

I have the Eibach Pro Truck Lift setup on my 2016 Z71. With their springs, I got 2.5” of lift in the front on the lowest setting. The second notch gives 3.2” of lift. They give a firmer but more controlled ride. The stock Ranchos were too soft and floaty to me.

I have the Eibach Pro Truck lift and it’s been excellent.  However, none of our suspensions will work on your 2018, you should post in that section for a better response.
