Radio volume

So I recently purchased a '22 silverado and I've noticed that when I unlock my phone, the volume goes down and doesn't return to normal. My '20 silverado did the same thing too. Any idea why it does this?

My quess is it does this to allow for better hearing while using the phone.

My Volume does that too, but resumes after a few seconds. Any texts will do that too. I had the dealer install the latest  updates in display.
