2500 rear springs in a 1500

Recommended Posts

Useless without the rest of what a 2500hd offers as in larger frame, axles, payload, GVWR and GCWR.

What is it with people in these forums and groups wanting to hope and pray adding airbags and more springs will somehow make their 1/2 ton truck not a 1/2 ton anymore?

I did, however, add a spring lift to my truck.
My installer asked why I wanted it on this 1500.
I told him I occasionally tow and, with the Bilstein shocks, it got smoothed out quite a bit.
So far, it has been well worth it.
