Can it be done ZR2 flowtie on 2023 Refresh RST

Just wondering if anyone has tried installing the Silverado ZR2 grill emblem on a RST Refresh Silverado.

I asked about this before...i can't find the part number for the flowtie.  If anyone can find that part number I will be happy to be the first to try this when i install my winch bumper in a few weeks.

Why, its not a ZR2 its like putting a SS emblem on a base model Camero.

No.  You'd have to do all of it.  Grille, headlights, bumper.  GM doesn't sell the double bar/flowtie piece separately from the entire grille, and its different from the LT/RST double bar/bowtie piece.  

 

The double bar piece has the center opened for the flowtie, as does the grille.  The outer red lip portion of the flowtie is sold but will only fit the ZR2 grille.  None of the attachment points on the LT/RST grille will fit the outer lip.

It can be done, and it has been done (i've seen it - that's where I got the idea).  The emblem itself is a separate piece and obviously some custom work would need to be done to make it fit.  But it's not a huge project.  Remove grill, cut out flowtie shaped hole, fab up mount for flowtie.  We just need to find the flowtie itself.

That is the correct flowtie. It comes with the chrome and red piece. It is slightly different in dimensions compared to the other Silverado trims. Didn't match up to my 23 High Country bowtie. I'll post pics when I get a chance

Are we absolutely sure of this?  Because I looked at that part number and at some of the other parts outlets, the description is "ZR2 Emblem, "ZR2" text"...which sounds to me like the ZR2 badge that mounts on the left side of the front grille.

Here you go. I ordered another one for my ZR2. It's the front Bowtie

Ok then i'll get that ordered.  Hopefully i'll have my lights soon so I can get started on the bumper project.  I'll post up when I am able to get to it.
