Randal Scott Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 I'm looking for a part number for the power cord that plugs into the outside of the truck. That runs the block heater. The truck is a 2020 3500 HD High Country with a 6.6l diesel. They bought it used and it didn't come with it. Any help on the part number and/or where to get one. They used to go to Florida for the winter. Not this year! Need to be able to plug it in.
Randal Scott Posted September 8, 2023 Author Posted September 8, 2023 (edited) I'm sorry but this is not the right part number. I was told wrong! Edited September 10, 2023 by Randal Scott 1
rjgvt Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 I don’t have a diesel but did an internet search and it wasn’t hard to find. Can always ask the parts person at the dealer.
A Chap Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 I've been plugging mine in everyday here in Alaska, when I get home from work I'll grab the part number off the sticker. We've been reaching -30 at night, still starting like a dream. I did switch over to 5W-40 for the winter months, seems to help.
Crazy Canuck Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 The first picture with the number ending 235 is the cord from my 2024. The second pic is from either my 2021 or my 2022. Found it in my basement so I guess I forgot to put the little kit with the bra and whatnot back in when I traded.
