scottiefinch Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Ok, i have a problem with my radio. The touchscreen doesn't work anymore, i've replaced the digitizer twice, but still no luck. I have a new head unit (linkswell tstyle) to install but they say to have the tone settings/fader settings flat before installing since they can't change settings on the bose amp after install. Problem is my fader settings have the sound all the way to the right side of the cab right now because of the dang crazy touchscreen issues. I've tried everything to reset to zero but no joy. Pulled power for an hour, factory reset on radio, pulled fuses, etc. Nothing will reset the fader settings... Does anybody have any suggestions to reset the amp by chance? Appreciate the help. Thanks Scott
DCazares Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 What new screen/radio did you get? I installed the Autotec Pro 14.2" and also have Bose +Kicker Soundgate and have no problem adjusting after install as all my factory settings are available/compatible with the new system. Maybe try buying a cheap screen or borrowing one from someone you know to adjust your settings.
scottiefinch Posted September 29, 2023 Author Posted September 29, 2023 I must have fried the circuit board or something. i've tried 3 screens so far off ebay. If i borrow someone's radio, does their radio system have to have the BOSE system in order for me to adjust my fader settings? Thanks Scott
