2021 L5P 10 Speed Alliston Starting off in 2nd Gear

Got the Edge Monitor set up a while ago but noticed my truck doesn't start off in first gear, unless manually switched, anyone else have similar instances

Operating as designed.  Only the 1 tons with the 12 inch ring gear out back start in 1st gear.

That's normal. If you want it to start in 1st gear you can do it manually as you described or you can also place it in Tow/Haul mode.

So. tow/haul mode starts in 2nd gear but no other modes on the 1500 Series trucks

This is not correct.  All L5Ps 2500 and 3500 start in 2nd gear in normal mode.  In tow/haul, the trans starts in 1st gear.  

 

The L8Ts with 10 speed start in 1st gear.
