Today I noticed that my front drivers side wheel had more brake dust then the passenger front. So I jacked up both front wheels and found that the drivers side turned freely. Removed both wheels and found that the drivers side pads had more wear. Not a lot but you could tell in comparison. Rotor looked good. No sign of excessive heat. I could easily turn the rotor with wheel off. So I removed caliper to check the slide pins. They were free and had grease. Pads moved freely on the shims. Could not figure out why more brake dust on drivers side. Put it back together and went for a drive. Got going at 45mph and braked hard. No pull to one side and no noticeable problem that I could tell. So I jacked up drivers side and pressed on brake pedal quite hard several times and got out and wheel turned freely.

 

Could sure use some advise on what to look for.

Could be the rubber lines to the caliper. It’s a little early but possible.
