Would anyone happen to know what this plug is for, as it is attached/hanged , behind the capless fill. You have to look under the truck to see it. I am looking for the wires for conecting a 7 pin trailer/ camper wires. My lbz had them taped under the bed in this area, but not a plug end on it. My new truck is a 24 gmc 3500 dually, gas. I know I have them at the rear, but this area is best for me. Thanks

I don’t know what that connector is, but the way I have seen people add a connector at the front of the bed is to buy the Curt 56000 harness for long beds, which plugs into the trailer harness at the rear, and run it forward to the new connector location.

You need to connect downstream of the trailer module that is next to the spare tire. I don’t think there is a connector up forward that you can tie into and have everything function properly.

Its just a breather for the evap vent. Its not an electrical connector or cap of any kind. The 7-way blunt cut, if present is usually balled up in tape near the frame rail.

Thanks, I followed it back to something beside the gas tank. Evap canister I guess. I never would have thought it was a vent by looking at it.
