ARE 2008 & 2014 GMC FRAMES INTERCHANGEABLE?

WHAT DIFFERENCES, IF ANY, ARE THERE?

No they are not the same.

 

A 2008 is a GMT-900 frame and the 2014 is a K2XX frame. Two different generations of trucks so the frames won't be exactly the same.

 

If it was a 2500/3500 frame it might be more similar but still likely different in some ways. Those trucks have the same body style from 2007-2014.

Another question. Can a 2008 crew cab body be put onto a 2008 cab and a half frame?

The BEST place to get answers to questions like this are your local recycle yard that has access to an Interchange manual or check the part number on any GM site that has parts catalogs for your application. Generally vehicles share a lot of parts '08 to '14 is a long time these days. If the parts share the same P/N you're good to go.
