Quick question regarding Chevy Tahoe

Quick question about the tahoe:

Can the pre-2003 HD hood be installed on the tahoe? Also, if the body panels were purchased, can the freshened (avalanche style) front end of the 2003-later chevy pickup trucks be installed on the tahoe?

Thank you for all your help. Im considering purchasing one of these trucks, but it would need to be a bit "modified"

Yes, you can do either of those things. I'm not sure how well the new front end would match the body of the Tahoe. I would like to see it though.

Tom from Tbyrne Motorsports put the HD hood on his '02 Suburban.

Go to his site Tbyrne motorsports and click on the link in the bottom left hand column of his home page for "Our Vehicles". You'll see his Suburban there. He put the HD hood on it and then 2-toned the paint and added flares... (plus all the performance upgrades)

I saw a NBS Tahoe going down the road yesterday with an 03-04 Truck front end on it.

Looked better with that front end than the pickups do, in my opinion.

Im pretty sure the 03-up front ends blend right in with the body panels. I know you can also do the Escalade conversion too.

In Mexico, the 2004 Chevrolet Suburban currently uses the 2003-2004 Chevrolet pickup front clip. However, the Chevrolet Tahoe(called the Sonora there), has the current(old bodystyle) front clip.

I like that look!

I think the newer burb front ends are a little too "soft" and rounded. The HD clip gives it a bada$$ hardened look.

Perhaps they need to have a "HD" option for the burban too.

Yeah, i think Ill do the HD hood. Wonder how this would look withouth the HD grille, etc. The mexican 'burb is a nice change of pace. I agree totally that the front ends look a little too rounded and soft. What do you guys think (practicality in different situations aside), do the cargo doors look better or the liftgate ( i always prefer a tailgate, but oh well )??
