5.3 L82 engine

My 2021 Silverado was built without active fuel management, L82 engine, would it have 16 standard lifters or were they built the same as engines with AFM

I -believe- what you are missing is the controllers to activate the AFM/DFM but the engine should have been built with the appropriate lifers and such installed for it.

Hard parts are in the engine, ECM and software are not capable of AFM.
