Found out late last wk i am getting ? back from the government.  Said if your parents claim you on your taxes you are SOL.  Aint that a &*$($.  I paid taxes the last 3 yrs.  WHATS UP WITH THIS?  WHO CAN I WRITE?

? would have been nice could have added a little something something to my truck.  

I tried to tell my dad since they claim me i get at least ? out of it.  He didnt like that idea hehe.

I got a letter also stating that i wouldn't be getting any money.

Only problem is that my parents didn't claim me, and i di pay income taxes for 00.

The IRS phone # has been busy for 4 days strait!

I guess I shouldn't tell you my check came today then should I?  OOps, I guess I just did...

I do feel that the tax cut should be across the board and if you paid then you should get some back, and it is BS that this is happening.  It certainly isn't fair for some people to get it while others don't...

Especially students in college.  I worked my but off every summer and part-time through college to get by, and I could use every penny I could find...

Sorry to hear that Ryan.  Here in NY, anyone who owes back child support (AKA dead beat dads, and the dozen or so women who pay child support) aren't getting their checks either.

I got one of "them" letters.  I was pretty much expecting it.

What happened on mine was that, eventhough I paid taxes, my adjusted income and tax credits made it so I owed zero dollars in taxes and the government owed me, hince, no taxes paid, so no refund.

I got one of those dang letters last week.  Really pissed me off, to say the least.  Would have really come in handy for buying my books, or just to put in the bank until I really needed it.  Maybe I will just take that ? out of my income tax for this year.  ;)

 We only got about ?, which is ? more than some people, but we were hoping for ?.  Despite being broke all last year, somehow we made too much money and only got a little back.  Gotta love your Uncle Sam........

Got ours yesterday. It was a nice surprise, but unfortunately the people who need it most (not to say I can't use it!), like students, and others more needy don't get much, if anything. Meanwhile our national debt is not getting paid down either. Maybe next time people will be more careful who they vote into office....

Actually, NOBODY has EVER been elected by a majority of the people.  Only a majority of the votes.
