2019 v6 engine fan and temp light

My temperature gauge on my dash board has stopped working and whenever I turn my truck off the engine fan immediately comes on and runs for several minutes. Any idea what’s wrong??

Do you have an OBD code reader?  If not, purchase one or stop by an AutoZone and have the codes read.

My dashboard doesn’t have any code or even a check engine light on…

Even if your check engine light is not on, the computer can still store codes. I would have your truck scanned and see if anything comes up.
