zelmo Posted March 3, 2024 Posted March 3, 2024 Is the warning to change the engine air filter from a sensor or is it just based on mileage or time?
Haufski762 Posted March 3, 2024 Posted March 3, 2024 I wondered this as well. Just like the brake % and fuel filter life %.

Although my truck is a 2020 it only has 15,000 miles on it and I have the warning to replace the engine air filter. I don't drive in dusty or any kind of extreme conditions. I will do it but I find it hard to believe it really needs to be replaced.
